We elevated the KFC brand mark to create an iconic and ownable global language. The identity reflects the brand's focus and place in people's everyday lives.

Colonel Sanders is a man that stood tall, overcoming adversity from a young age. He never gave in, believing in himself and the ability to turn a life not worth living into a legacy.

It didn’t come easy for the Colonel, he started from the bottom. Challenged for his string tie, perfect goatee and strong white suit. He didn’t change, he stood tall.

Because confidence isn’t rocked by fashion, small talk or someone else’s opinion #Standtall

The graphic language highlights a new treatment of the brand's existing elements. Simplifying the language and graphic treatment allows the brand to express more clearly it's values and strengths.

 

Heritage, simplicity & narrative. Born from KFC DNA. To do this we need to stand tall. Just like the Colonel and the iconic KFC stripes. No bending, no bullshit. No faux American fonts. KFC don’t need to pretend. We are KFC, standing tall above all the pretenders. This is our DNA. This is what we do. We re-establish the core elements of the KFC brand. Unquestionably KFC. This confidence and clarity will allow the brand to stand tall.
